Hence, if the DoH protocol is enabled, turn it off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Follow the steps mentioned below to turn off the DoH protocol:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open a <strong>fresh<\/strong> tab in Mozilla Firefox.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>URL<\/strong> (address) bar, type <strong>about:config<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press <strong>Enter<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Advanced Preference<\/strong> page will appear.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the <strong>Advanced Preferences<\/strong> page, <strong>click Accept the Risk and Continue<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A new search bar will appear.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the search bar, type <strong>network.trr.mode<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Double-click the digit<strong> 2<\/strong> (two).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press <strong>0<\/strong> (zero) on the keyboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press <strong>Enter<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Restart the <strong>Mozilla Firefox<\/strong> browser.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verify whether the issue still exists or not.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Temporarily Disable VPN &amp; Proxy (if in use)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cN\u201d number of people use proxy or VPN (virtual private network) to remain anonymous on the Internet by hiding their IP address. But sometimes, these services even block secure and encrypted connections. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When this happens, Firefox is unable to find a suitable or appropriate cipher suite and ultimately pops up this warning message. Hence, if you are using any of these services, temporarily deactivate them and, once done, re-access the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Follow the steps mentioned below to disable a proxy:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open a <strong>fresh<\/strong> tab in Mozilla Firefox.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Open application menu<\/strong> (three horizontal lines) icon, placed on the top right position.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the list, click <strong>Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Settings<\/strong> page will appear.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll down.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under the <strong>Network Setting<\/strong> section, click <strong>Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Connection Settings<\/strong> dialogue box will appear.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under the <strong>Configure Proxy Access to the Internet<\/strong> section, check the radio button placed adjacent to the <strong>No proxy<\/strong> option.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Restart the <strong>Mozilla Firefox<\/strong> browser.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verify whether the issue still exists or not.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Follow the steps mentioned below to disable VPN:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click <strong>Search<\/strong>, placed on the taskbar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Type <strong>VPN<\/strong> and press <strong>Enter<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Network &amp; internet &gt; VPN<\/strong> page will appear.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Disconnect<\/strong> button placed adjacent to the <strong>VPN name<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Restart the <strong>Mozilla Firefox<\/strong> browser.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verify whether the issue still exists or not.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reset Mozilla Firefox Browser\u2019s SSL Settings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have changed the Mozilla Firefox browser\u2019s SSL settings, then it\u2019s possible that due to those changes, the Firefox browser is showing the pr_end_of_file warning message. If, at any time, you have made changes in the settings, switch them back or simply reset them to their default state. Once done, verify whether the error disappears or not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Follow the steps mentioned below to reset Mozilla Firefox browser\u2019s SSL settings:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open a <strong>fresh<\/strong> tab in Mozilla Firefox.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Open application menu<\/strong> (three horizontal lines) icon, placed on the top right position.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the list, click <strong>Help<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the list, click <strong>More troubleshooting information<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Troubleshooting Information<\/strong> page will appear.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the <strong>Troubleshooting Information<\/strong> page, under <strong>Give Firefox a tune up<\/strong> section, click <strong>Refresh Firefox<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Refresh Firefox to its default settings<\/strong> dialogue box will appear.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Refresh Firefox to its default settings<\/strong> dialogue box, click Refresh Firefox.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wait for a min until a <strong>new Firefox tab<\/strong> opens.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Re-access the site.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verify whether the issue still persists or not.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Temporarily Disable 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Party Security Software (if in use)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Third-party security software, like antivirus, firewall, etc., shields your system from malicious codes or malware. But, sometimes, to protect the system, they disrupt the SSL handshake process, which is vital for establishing a secure and encrypted connection. And when it happens, the Firefox browser pops up the PR End of File warning message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Follow the steps mentioned below to temporarily disable antivirus:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click <strong>Search<\/strong>, placed on the taskbar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Type <strong>Windows Security<\/strong> and press <strong>Enter<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Windows Security<\/strong> window will open.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Virus &amp; threat protection<\/strong> page will open.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under the <strong>Virus &amp; threat protection<\/strong> <strong>settings <\/strong>section, click the <strong>Manage settings<\/strong> option.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under the <strong>Real-time protection<\/strong> section, use the <strong>toggle switch <\/strong>to deactivate it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>User Account Control <\/strong>window will open.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Yes<\/strong> in the <strong>User Account Control <\/strong>window.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Search<\/strong>, placed on the taskbar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Type <strong>Firefox<\/strong> and press <strong>Enter<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A new <strong>Firefox<\/strong> tab will appear.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Re-access the site.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verify whether the issue persists or not.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Follow the steps mentioned below to temporarily disable firewall:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click <strong>Search<\/strong>, placed on the taskbar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Type <strong>Windows Defender Firewall <\/strong>and press <strong>Enter<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>Windows Defender Firewall <\/strong>window will appear.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Windows Defender Firewall <\/strong>window, in the left pane, click <strong>Turn Windows Defender Firewall on or off<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under the <strong>Private network settings <\/strong>section, check the checkbox placed adjacent to the <strong>Turn off Windows Defender Firewall <\/strong><strong>(not recommended)<\/strong> option.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Search<\/strong>, placed on the taskbar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Type <strong>Firefox<\/strong> and press <strong>Enter<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A new <strong>Firefox<\/strong> tab will appear.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Re-access the site.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verify whether the issue persists or not.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Create a New Mozilla Firefox Profile<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If none of the above methods have worked for you and the issue still persists, then you should create a new Mozilla Firefox profile. This is so because a corrupted or misconfigured Firefox profile can give rise this.
