How to Install an SSL Certificate on Kerio Connect?

If you already have an SSL cert for your Kerio Connect server, you can skip the first part and directly move to the installation steps.

How to Install an SSL Certificate on the Kerio Connect Mail Server?

Step 1: Unzip and Extract the SSL Files

Unzip the .zip folder and extract all its content. Make sure you have all these files:

• Chain or Intermediate Certs (.ca-bundle file)
• Primary certificate (.crt file)

Step 2: Install SSL Certificate

Follow the steps mentioned below to install the SSL cert on Kerio Connect:

• Login into your Kerio Administration console.
• From the left pane, click Configuration.
• Click SSL Certificates.
• In the right pane, click Import
• From the list, select Import Signed Certificate from CA.
• Select your newly imported SSL Certificate.
• Click Set as Active.
• Open the Primary certificate file using a text editor like Notepad. (File 1)
• Now, open the Intermediate certificate file using Notepad. (File 2)
• Copy all the File 2 content.

Paste it below the File 1 content without giving any space in between. File 1 should look like this:

(Intermediate certificate)

–END CERTIFICATE–

• Save the settings.
